This automation module, which belongs to the 13336 series, also generates a three-phase, PWM, variable output frequency, to supply a variable motor speed. The output voltage can be adjusted to match specific motor parameters, so as to achieve optimal motor performance. The 1336-GMS2 drive, which belongs to the 1336 series, features a non-programmable input, positioned at terminal 30, which is dedicated to the device’s hardware. For this drive to start, this input must be available. Opening it shuts off the drive’s output, leading to a “coast to stop”. With a fixed input/output (I/O) and several L option I/O cards, this drive can operate from a remote control panel/optional local with minimal connections to the terminal block TB2. Additional status outputs, as well as control functions, are also available to boost efficiency. This part can be configured to function with a fixed speed module or an analog speed follower; it can also be controlled by a communication network. The 1336-GMS2 can also be controlled with a communication network. The 1336-GMS2 drive comes with common core mode cores. This feature is effective in reducing the common mode noise coming from this drive output. It also helps guard against interference from other electronic equipment (including programmable controllers, analog circuits, and sensors).
