The 1336-RFB-27-B is an RFI input filter for the 1336 series of variable frequency AC drives, which is manufactured by Allen Bradley. It is compatible with the 1336S/F-A007, 1336S/F-B007 - B015 PLUS series, the 1336T-A001 - A007 and 1336T-B001 - B015 FORCE series, and the 1336E-A007, 1336E-B007 - B015 IMPACT series. It operates on both 200 to 240 Volts and 380 to 480 Volts of a three-phase input AC supply. The dimensions of the 1336-RFB-27-B are 540 mm x 276.6 mm x 58.0 mm, and it weighs 7.0 kg. This module should be installed to the panel along with the drive, using the supplied hardware. It should be placed between the input AC supply and the drive input terminals.The input RFI filter is used to suppress the radio frequency conducted emissions from the AC mains supply to the drive, in order to protect the drive.

A strong ground connection to the earth is recommended, in order to appropriately suppress the interferences. Additionally, the cables that are to be used should be shielded cables, so as to prevent any emissions from them. The 1336-RFB-27-B   should be installed only by a trained and qualified person, in order to prevent the 1336-RFB-27-B  from becoming damaged, as well as to prevent any electric shock and injury to the operating personnel. To install the 1336-RFB-27-B, first disconnect the input power supply from the drive, then install the 1336-RFB-27-B along with the drive system, with the supplied hardware onto the panel. Connect the input power supply to the inputs of the filter, according to their phases, and connect the corresponding output of the filter to the respective drive input connectors. In addition, connect the ground wire to the nearest earth terminal to prevent ground leakage currents.
