The Allen-Bradley 1336-SCR-SP10A Input SCR Assembly is an input SCR assembly for the Allen-Bradley1336 Plus, Plus II, Impact, and Force AC drives. This SCR module is located just below the bottom of the drive’s heatsink, behind the base drive mounting plate on the converter assembly of the drive. The 1336-SCR-SP10A input SCR assembly has a DC output and it helps to provide high voltage control for the drive’s applications. It is shipped as an assembly consisting of a single input SCR and installation accessories including fastening screws and a mounting plate. The 1336-SCR-SP10A assembly is compatible with 575 Volts AC rated 1336 Plus, Plus II, Impact, and Force AC drives. It is also designed for E Frame 1336 Plus, Plus II, Impact, and Force AC drives with Horsepower output ratings between 150 and 300 Horsepower.

The 1336-SCR-SP10A SCR assembly is installed below the gate drive board mounting plate that is close to the heatsink. To install the assembly, remove the power from the drive first, and check for voltage residue at the +DC and –DC terminals of the TB1 terminal and at the TB10, TB11, and the L option board (if installed). Remove the drive’s main circuit platform to access the SCRs. Detach the old SCR by removing the 2 screws fastening the input SCR to the drive’s converter bracket. Replace it with a new input SCR like the 1336-SCR-SP10A SCR assembly, and repeat the above processes in reverse order.
