The Allen-Bradley 1336-BDB-SP10D is a variable frequency AC drive that is tailored to offer adjustable speed control of three-phase motors. This is a microprocessor-based drive that comes with standard features which are programmed to improve the performance of the drive to suit a wide range of application prerequisites. The 1336-BDB-SP10D is a Volts-per-Hertz product that uses a 32-bit microprocessor and an insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) that offers the required motor operation, improved motor efficiency and smooth performance of low speed.



The size and simplicity of the 1336-BDB-SP10D allow a stress-free installation when size is the key concern. Additionally, most of the models used by the 1336-BDB-SP10D are rated at single or three-phase, 50 or 60 Hertz, and are accessible at ¼ to ½ Hp. This standard drive has a digital display and several programming and operating keys on a removable keypad. This unit’s display offers drive monitoring and diagnostic details while the keys are used for digital adjustment and programming of the controller and operator control. Separate terminals that are used to block for power wiring and control are offered for customer connections. The 1336-BDB-SP10D comes with the RS485 serial communications.



The drives used in the 1336-BDB-SP10D drive offer a variable speed for 3ph AC Induction motors from 1/8 via a ten Horsepower. The controller uses a voltage of 208 to 230 or 400 to 460 Volts AC at 50 to 60 Hertz with 1ph and 3ph input. The Allen-Bradley 1336-BDB-SP10D variable drive comprises 16 inverter models rated for 1/10 to 5 horsepower motors. Additionally, the chassis IP 20 drives are perfect for OEM applications where the digital programming and display are not needed.



This unit’s operator interface offers an ideal means for a user to start and stop the motor as it allows adjustment of the operating speed. It comes with an operator interface keypad and a display unit that is available on the front of the VFD controller. The keypad display is always cable-connected and mounted a short distance from the variable frequency drive (VFD) controller, and the majority of them are offered with input and output I/O terminals for connecting push buttons, switches, and other operator interface device and control signals. The 1336-BDB-SP10D has a serial communication port that allows the variable frequency drive to be configured, adjusted, and controlled with a PC.
