The Allen-Bradley 1336-BDB-SP22A gate drive PCB or printed circuit board is a spare part for the Allen-Bradley Bulletin 1336 family of adjustable frequency drives. This 1336 series particular spare part is a gate drive PCB that is compatible with the Allen-Bradley 1336 Plus (S), Plus II (F), Force (T), and Impact (E) drives. This gate drive PCB operates with an AC voltage rating of 575 Volts AC, with a 40 Horsepower output power rating, and with a frequency rating of 50 to 60 Hertz. The 1336-BDB-SP22A gate drive PCB supplies power to the main control and isolation boards.

The 1336-BDB-SP22A gate drive PCB is installed between the main control board and chassis, which are separated by the drive board mounting plate. Jumper connections allow for the interfacing of this gate drive PCB to the other boards in the drive. For drives with Frame Size B and ratings of 1 to 15 Horsepower and 240 Volts, 1 to 30 Horsepower and 380 Volts, or 1 to 20 Horsepower and 600 Volts, the input and output connections are made at the TB1 terminal. On other drives with higher Horsepower ratings and Frame Sizes C, D, E, G, and H), the TB1 terminal blocks are located on the bottom of the drive where both the input and output power connections need to be made. Remove the board’s mounting plate first when uninstalling the 1336-BDB-SP22A gate drive PCB. The lockout power must be disconnected from the drive and the bus voltage level must be 0 Volts before disassembly. The bus voltage can be measured across terminals +DC and -DC of terminal block TB1. Even if the lockout power is disconnected, the technicians should begin drive service only when the bus voltage has been discharged to 0 Volts.
