* The Allen Bradley 1336-BDB-SP32C has been discontinued by the manufacturer, however we specialize in obsolete parts and can likely still supply surplus and/or refurbished replacement 1336-BDB-SP32C units instead of migration.
The Allen-Bradley 1336-BDB-SP32C printed circuit board (PCB) is a gate drive PCB manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. This unit is an essential spare part that is compatible for use with the Bulletin 1336 adjustable frequency drives like the 1336 Plus (S), Plus II (F), Force (T), and Impact (E) drives. This unit operates with an AC voltage of 575 Volts AC, with an output rating of 75 Horsepower, and with an operating frequency of 50 to 60 Hertz. The 1336-BDB-SP32C PCB is installed on a mounting plate located between the main control board and the drive chassis. The gate drive PCB’s primary function is to supply power to the main control and isolation boards and to switch the IGBT brake circuit on and off. Interfacing with other boards is accomplished with the use of jumper wires and ribbon cables.
The 1336-BDB-SP32C PCB’s input and output power connections are made through terminal block TB1 on the gate drive PCB for drives with Frame Size B that are rated at 1 to 15 Horsepower and 240 Volts, 1 to 30 Horsepower and 380 Volts, or 1 to 20 Horsepower and 600 Volts, while drives with higher Horsepower rating and frame sizes C, D, E, G, and H have TB1 terminal blocks that are located on the bottom of the drive. During the removal of the 1336-BDB-SP32C PCB, the drive board mounting plate must be removed first. Lockout power must also be disconnected from the drive before disassembly. The bus voltage must be discharged to 0 Volts. Verify bus voltage by measuring the +DC and -DC levels on terminal block TB1. Initiate the drive service process only when the bus voltage has been discharged to 0 Volts.
