These AC adjustable frequency drives are used when attached to variable speed motors and their main objective is to control this speed while providing safe and secure operations, prolonging the life of the drive. The Allen-Bradley 1336-BDB-SP36A gate drive board is fully compatible.only with Frame E 1336 drives that have a Horsepower rating of 100 Horsepower. This board can also be used with drives with a 230 Volts AC voltage rating. Each AC adjustable frequency drive requires only 1 gate drive board.

When installing the Allen-Bradley 1336-BDB-SP36A gate drive board, the environment needs to be studied to determine whether any ventilation equipment should be installed or not to provide a means to avoid overheating.
