The 1336-BDB-SP37D is an adjustable frequency AC drive component that is used by Plus (S), Plus II (F), Force (T) and Impact (E) units. The operating input voltage category of this component is 460VAC, 50-60Hertz with an output of 150 Horsepower.

This PCB driver is situated on a mounting plate which is installed between the main control board and drive chassis. The intended function of this component is to provide and maintain power to the drive boards such as the main and isolation circuit boards. It also turns ON and OFF the IGBT circuit.

This PCB gate drive board is also intended to replace the 1336-BDB-SP37A, and 1336-BDB-SP37C PCB drive boards. This electronic component is a level 1 major assembly component. Install one of this PCB gate drive to each 1336 Frame E drive.

This electronic drive component also houses the slots that is used for board interface with the use of the provided prefabricated jumper and ribbon cables.

Adjustable frequency AC drive has capacitors that retain charge even if the power has been cut off. Before removing any component such as the 1336-BDB-SP37D, remove the driver board mounting initially. Bus voltage must be read Zero (0) volts when measured from the + DC and - DC Terminal of Terminal block TB1.

The 1336-BDB-SP37D board is installed beside the control board and the main chassis, and it has multiple jumper connectors and terminals that provide an interface to the main drive board, power supply board, and auxiliary input. The 1336-BDB-SP37D board is designed for Allen-Bradley 1336 drives with a circuit operating voltage rating of 460 Volts AC (at 47 to 63 Hertz line frequency), and a 150 Horsepower output rating at 460 Volts AC. This driver board serves as a spare driver board for the Allen-Bradley 1336 (FORCE, PLUS, PLUS II, and IMPACT) drives with all frame sizes. To replace a damaged 1336-BDB-SP37D gate drive board, the power should be turned off first, and the damaged driver board should be removed from the main drive mounting plate. The 1336-BDB-SP37D replacement gate driver board is then attached firmly to the main mounting plate by using 8 stand-off screws that are fastened in a clockwise direction. Jumper connectors J2, J6, J7, J8, J9, J10, and J13, and the auxiliary input are then connected to the board, and then the power is turned on. The ED indicator on the drive’s front panel should be checked for proper installation. Every time a module is replaced, it is recommended that the gate driver board be tested for an open condition.
