* The Allen Bradley 1336-BDB-SP41C has been discontinued by the manufacturer, however we specialize in obsolete parts and can likely still supply surplus and/or refurbished replacement 1336-BDB-SP41C units instead of migration.
The 1336-BDB-SP41C board belongs to the Allen-Bradley Bulletin 1336 family of adjustable frequency drives. This particular spare part is a PCB (printed circuit board) that supplies power to the main control and isolation boards. The unit is compatible for use with the 1336 Plus (S), Plus II (F), Force (T), and Impact (E) drives. It can be operated with a voltage of 575 Volts AC, 200 Horsepower of output, and a frequency of 50 to 60 Hertz. The 1336-BDB-SP41C PCB converts low input power into a high current used by the IGBT brake in the drive. The unit has a dedicated mounting plate to complete its assembly which provides isolation from other boards and easy uninstallation. The PCB assembly is installed between the main control board and the chassis.
The 1336-BDB-SP41C board connects to the main board of the drive and the other drive circuitry with jumper connections and ribbon cables. The input and output power connections are made through terminal block TB1 of the board for drives with Frame Size B and ratings of 1 to 15 Horsepower and 240 Volts, 1 to 30 Horsepower and 380 Volts, or 1 to 20 Horsepower and 600 Volts. Drives with a higher Horsepower rating and Frame Sizes C, D, E, G, or H have TB1 terminal blocks that are located on the bottom of the drive. Caution must be observed during the replacement of the 1336-BDB-SP41C board. The drive board mounting plate must be removed first. Prior to removing the mounting plate, ensure that the lockout power is disconnected from the drive and bus voltage level is at 0 Volts. Verify the voltage level by measuring the +DC and -DC levels on terminal block TB1. Begin the drive service process only when the bus voltage has been discharged to 0 Volts. Typical errors that may indicate that this board needs to be replaced are Error display EE INIT READ 53 waring messages or when bus voltage is not present in the board even if the power is applied.
