The 1336-BDB-SP46A board is a spare part for the Allen-Bradley Bulletin 1336 family of adjustable frequency drives.  This particular spare part is a PCB or printed circuit board that is compatible for use with 1336 Plus (S), Plus II (F), Force (T), and Impact (E) drives. The PCB is an amplifier device that converts a lower power input into a high current that is used by the IGBT brake. It can be operated with a voltage rating of 460 Volts AC and it comes with a 600 Horsepower output rating. The normal operating frequency of the PCB is 50 to 60 Hertz. The 1336-BDB-SP46A PCB is an amplifier device. The board also turns the IGBT brake on and off and supplies power to the main control and isolation boards.

The 1336-BDB-SP46A board has a dedicated drive board mounting plate that is installed between the main control board and chassis. It is connected to the mainboard and the other drive circuitry by using jumper wires and ribbon cables. The input and output power connections are made through terminal block TB1 of the PCB. The TB1 terminal strip location varies according to the drive frame size. This PCB can work with drives with ratings of 1 to 15 Horsepower and 240 Volts, 1 to 30 Horsepower and 380 Volts, or 1 to 20 Horsepower and 600 Volts. It can also work with drives with a higher Horsepower rating and frame sizes C, D, E, G, and H where the TB1 terminal blocks are located on the bottom of the drive. During the removal of the 1336-BDB-SP46A board, the drive board mounting plate must be removed first.  Ensure that the lockout power is disconnected from the drive before disassembly. Verify the presence of voltage by measuring the +DC and -DC values on terminal block TB1. Begin drive service only when the bus voltage has been discharged to 0 Volts.
