The 1336-BDB-SP62C gate drive board is a printed circuit board (PCB) that has been designed as a spare part and replacement part exclusively for the Allen-Bradley 1336 Force series adjustable frequency drives. It has been manufactured and launched for industrial systems by Allen-Bradley. This printed circuit board is located in the front panel of the drive, behind the main control board, and it fulfills several electronic and circuitry functions. The Allen-Bradley 1336-BDB-SP62C printed circuit board (PCB) is fully compatible with drives within the B frame that operate with a three-phase voltage of 230 Volts, a frequency of 50 to 60 Hertz and a Horsepower rating of 3 to 7.5 Horsepower.
The protection level of the 1336-BDB-SP62C printed circuit board (PCB) will depend on the housing of the main drive. Depending on the 1336 Force drive's features, this housing can be an open housing, an IP 20 (NEMA 1) enclosure or more advanced housings that provide different kinds of protection depending on the environment where it is going to be applied.  Generally, to have a proper installation of the drive and the 1336-BDB-SP62C printed circuit board (PCB), it is necessary to leave clearances on each side of the drive to promote ventilation and avoid overheating and the damages it does to the drive. It is important that this printed circuit board is attached to a negative ground. When mounting and installing the part, it cannot be in contact with any device that generates electrostatic discharge. It is also recommended that prior to its installation, the drive has zero voltage on each one of its connections.
