The 1336-BDB-SP7C board is an Allen-Bradley spare part board for the Allen-Bradley Bulletin 1336 adjustable frequency drives. This 1336-BDB-SP7C board is a PCB gate drive board for use with 1336 Plus (S) and Force (T) drives. The PCB operates with 575 Volts AC voltage with a 7.5 Horsepower output power rating. The normal operating frequency is 50 to 60 Hertz. The 1336-BDB-SP7C gate drive PCB turns the IGBT brake on and off and it supplies power to the main control and isolation boards. It is located between the main control board and chassis, with a dedicated gate drive board mounting plate. This mounting plate enables easy maintenance and removal of the gate drive PCB. The unit is connected to the mainboard with the use of jumper wires with clear identifications to eliminate wiring errors. Consider replacing the PCB gate drive when there is an error display like the EE INIT READ 53 warning or when the bus voltage is not present even if power is applied.
Dedicated terminal block TB1 allows the connection of Input and output for drives with Frame Size B (rated at 1 to 15 Horsepower and 240 Volts, 1 to 30 Horsepower and 380 Volts, or 1 to 20 Horsepower and 600 Volts). Higher horsepower-rated drives (frame sizes C, D, E, G, and H) have TB1 terminal blocks installed on the bottom of the drive where both the input and output power connections need to be made. Caution must be observed when performing the uninstallation of the 1336-BDB-SP7C PCB**.** Verify that the bus voltage has Zero (0) volts by measuring the voltage across the +DC and -DC terminals. Confirm that the lock-out power is disconnected from the drive before disassembly. Alternate part numbers that can serve as a replacement to the 1336-BDB-SP7C board are 1336-CONV-SP7A (Ser. A to C) or 1336-BDB-SP7D gate drive board.
