sThe 1336-BDB-SP9E PCB Gate Driver Board by Allen-Bradley is a PCB gate driver board for the 575V, 15HP, Allen-Bradley 1336 Plus and Force Adjustable Frequency Drive Series C and more recent gate drives. It is installed close to the main control board, and it is used for amplifying low current input from the power supply board. Like most boards in the 1336 drives, the 1336-BDB-SP9E has jumper connectors labeled J2, J7, J8, J9, J10, and J13 for connections and terminal bases labeled T4, T6, and T7 with different functions. The TB4 on the gate drive board is used for the 24V DC auxiliary input, and it provides connection to the main control board via a jumper connector, and it uses the TB6 for the high-voltage auxiliary input. The board is installed and removed by removing power from the drive and checking it for zero voltage at the positive and negative DC Brake terminals. The control board and the adapter mounting plate is also removed and the connector jumpers from the gate driver board are then connected. The 1336-BDB-SP9E PCB Gate Driver Board is then mounted on the mounting plate close to the main control board and its 8 fastened screws are fastened in a ¼ clockwise direction with a fastener torque of 26lb-in (3N-m).
The 1336-BDB-SP9E PCB Gate Driver Board’s enclosure can be custom-painted in 1, 2, or 3 colors and it can be labeled with a custom nameplate. It can also be accessorized with floor stands, heaters, and filters.
