The Allen-Bradley 1336-SN-SP15A PCB inverter snubber board is a PCB (Printed Circuit Board) inverter snubber assembly for theĀ 1336 Impact, Plus, Force, and Plus II AC drives. This inverter snubber is found within the input rectifier snubber board located on the inverter assembly between the heatsink and the vertical Bus and on the power module snubber board located on the heatsink at the rear-end of the inverter bay. The 1336-SN-SP15A PCBĀ is shipped as a spare part assembly comprisingĀ 3 inverter snubbers and an installation kit that includes fastening screwsĀ and mounting plate. This snubber board is compatible with the G and H frames 1336 Plus, Plus II, Impact, and Force drives with 300 to 800 Horsepower output ratings and 575 Volts AC operating voltage ratings.

The 1336-SN-SP15A snubber PCB is installed on the power module and input rectifier snubber board by removing power from the drive and checking for zero Volts at the ā€“DC and +DC brake terminals and the absence of control voltage at the ā€“V and +V terminals on the main control board. Detach the jumper connectors (J1 and J2) on the snubber board, and remove the fasting screws holding the snubber board to the bracket. ReplaceĀ the old or damaged snubber with the new 1336-SN-SP15A snubber and fasten the snubber board back to the bracket. Attach the jumper connectors and re-attach the circuit platform.
