The 1336-SN-SP17A board is a spare part kit containing a converter snubber board for Allen-Bradley 1336 series AC drives. Specifically, the board works with the 1336 PLUS, 1336 FORCE, 1336 PLUS II, and 1336 IMPACT drives in the 575 Volts AC and 460 Volts AC input voltage classes. For the 575 Volts AC input voltage class, the 1336-SN-SP17A board works with Frame F drives and with 400 Horsepower and 300 Horsepower drives belonging to the 1336 IMPACT, 1336 FORCE, and 1336 PLUS II product lines. For the 460 Volts AC input voltage class, the 1336-SN-SP17A board works with 450 Horsepower, 400 Horsepower, 350 Horsepower, 300 Horsepower, and 250 Horsepower drives from the 1336 IMPACT, 1336 FORCE, 1336 PLUS II, and 1336 PLUS product lines. In either case, a total of three 1336-SN-SP17A kits are required for each drive.

The 1336 IMPACT, 1336 FORCE, 1336 PLUS II, and 1336 PLUS drives are solid-state drives and they and their accessories like the 1336-SN-SP17A board are vulnerable to electrostatic discharge (ESD). The most important part of preventing ESD is the use of a grounded wrist strap. Additionally, working in an area that is static-safe also protects devices against ESD. Any area can be made static-safe by removing non-conductive materials from the workspace and covering both the work area floor and workbench with a grounded conductive material. Furthermore, ESD-sensitive drive parts should only be stored in static-shielded containers. The drive modules should be removed from their containers only inside the static-safe working area. Power should be removed from a drive that is to be serviced and the bus capacitors should be completely discharged.
