The 1336-SN-SP1A board is an Allen-Bradley spare part kit for a converter and inverter snubber PCB or printed circuit board. The 1336-SN-SP1A printed circuit board was designed to be used with the Allen-Bradley 1336 series AC drive series including the 1336 FORCE, 1336 PLUS II, 1336 PLUS, and the 1336 IMPACT series. The 1336-SN-SP1A boards work with AC drives rated at 230 Volts AC from the 1336 FORCE, 1336 PLUS II, 1336 PLUS, and 1336 IMPACT series. Specifically, the kit is compatible with 20 Horsepower, 25 Horsepower, and 30 Horsepower output rated Frame C drives. One kit is needed for each of these drives. In addition to the 230 Volts AC rated drives, the 1336-SN-SP1A board also works with 460 Volts AC rated Frame C drives from the 1336 FORCE, 1336 PLUS II, 1336 PLUS, and 1336 IMPACT series. It is compatible with the X40 Horsepower, 40 Horsepower, 50 Horsepower, and X60 Horsepower drives.

Allen-Bradley makes various recommendations to ensure that the performance of 1336 series variable frequency AC drives and their components such as the 1336-SN-SP1A board are flawless. These precautions include drive operation within the recommended ambient temperature range, following industry-standard practices for the reduction of electrical noise, minimizing leakage current, application of supply voltage with the correct polarity, ensuring that the surge current is within the specified limits, and ensuring transient over-voltages are within the specified limits. Additional ESD precautions, including working in static-safe areas and wearing grounded wrist straps while working, is recommended to prevent damage to ESD-sensitive drive components. Before maintenance or installation, the drive bus capacitors should be discharged completely.
