The Allen-Bradley 1336-SN-SP6A Inverter Snubber Board Assembly Kit is a replacement Snubber Board for the 1336 series of Allen-Bradley AC drives. The 1336-SN-SP6A Snubber Board is a stand-alone device that does not share a common bus and that is compatible with the Impact, Force, Plus, and Plus series 1336 drives. Generally, the 1336-SN-SP6A PCB Inverter Snubber Board and all board like it help to limit switching voltage in the circuit and any rise in the voltage transient level. The 1336-SN-SP6A Snubber Board Assembly Kit comprises 3 inverter snubber boards, and 15 supplied fastening screws. It is designed to be compatible with Allen-Bradley 1336 Plus, Plus II, Force, and Impact drives with 230 Volts AC input voltage ratings and 40 to 50 Horsepower output power ratings. It is also compatible with the 460 Volts AC rated D-Frame drives with 60 to 100 Horsepower output power ratings. The 1336-SN-SP6A Board can serve as a replacement inverter snubber board for the 575 Volts AC rated  D-Frame 1336 Plus, Plus II, Force, and Impact series drives with ratings between 75 Horsepower and 100 Horsepower.

The 1336-SN-SP6A Inverter Snubber Board is not backward-compatible with any previous Inverter Snubber Board versions, and it can only serve as a replacement for snubber boards with similar specifications. Replacing the old snubber board and installing a new one is very easy. To install the 1336-SN-SP6A PCB Inverter Snubber Board, remove the enclosure first (if there is any) and turn off the power to the drive. Remove the screws fastening the old board in place and detach the old board, then replace it with a new board.
