The Allen-Bradley 74101-169-88 Gate Drive Board is a gate drive board replacement spare part kit for the G-Frame high Horsepower rated Allen-Bradley 1336 Plus and PlusII drives. This board is supplied as a spare part assembly kit consisting of a drive board and few mounting screws. The 74101-169-88 Gate Drive Board is backward-compatible with the 1336-BDB-SP51A Series A through C gate drive boards, and it can be used as a replacement part for these boards. The 74101-169-88 Gate Drive Board is compatible with the 1336 Plus and PlusII adjustable frequency AC drives with input ratings of 460 Volts AC and 500 Horsepower nominal drive ratings.



 



The 74101-169-88 Gate Drive Board is installed beside the drive’s main control board and like all 1336 spare parts, it is designed to be field-installable. To install the board, first remove the enclosure, turn off the power, and check the TB1 terminals for zero voltage on the terminals. Pull out the drive’s main control board to access the gate drive board. There is 1 fan connector and 6 jumper connectors on the gate driver board (J2, J6, J7, J8, J9, and J10) and 1 TB6 fan connector. Remove the connectors from the board and replace the old board with a new one. Reconnect the connectors on the new board and secure the main control board. For optimal working conditions, it is advisable to test the gate driver board upon the replacement of a power module.
