sThe 74101-582-54 gate drive board is a spare part kit for the Allen-Bradley 1336 series adjustable frequency AC drives. It is a revised version for the original 1336-BDB-SP4-A gate drive board. The input voltage supply that is required for the 74101-582-54 gate drive board is 460 Volts AC. It can also run with a DC power supply. The spare part has been specially designed for the 1336 series drives and can fit different sizes of the adjustable frequency drives. It is compact and easily replaceable during the maintenance process. The 74101-582-54 board is connected to the mainboard of the drive by using the microbus port located on top of the gate drive board. After connecting the gate drive board to the main control board, the input supply power can be evenly distributed across all the components of the drive. The installation process of the board is easy. It can directly be installed on to the drive after opening the cover from the backside.
During installation, the AC drive should be properly disconnected from the power and it should be properly earthed. All the voltage in the capacitor unit of the drive should be fully discharged before installing the 74101-582-54 gate drive board on the drive. The specified temperature range for the installation and the operation of the 74101-582-54 board should be between 0 and 50 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature should not be exceeded because the heat may damage the internal components of the drive and reduce the drive's lifespan.
