The 74101-582-56 printed circuit board (PCB) kit is an Allen-Bradley spare part with the alternative catalog number 1336-BDB-SP6A. It has been replaced by a newer PCB spare part kit with the catalog number 1336-CONV-SP6A (Series A to Series C). The 74101-582-56 board kit is a gate drive PCB and the 1336-CONV-SP6A board kit is a kit for upgrading Allen-Bradley FORCE, IMPACT, and PLUS drives in Series A, B, and C and it contains 3 components, namely the gate drive PCB, an inductor, and a precharge SCR. The 74101-582-56 board kit is compatible with 30 Horsepower output rated drives which operate at 460 Volts AC input voltage. The 74101-582-56 board kit is compatible with Frame B drives. One 74101-582-56 board kit is required per drive.

Allen-Bradley FORCE drives are adjustable frequency AC drives available in 0.75 to 485 kilowatts (1 to 650 Horsepower) output ratings. Allen-Bradley IMPACT drives are adjustable frequency AC drives available in 0.37 to 597 kilowatts (0.5 to 800 Horsepower) output ratings. Allen-Bradley PLUS drives are adjustable frequency AC drives available in 0.37 to 448 kilowatts (0.5 to 600 Horsepower) output ratings. Each of these families of solid-state drives supports 200, 400, and 600 Volts AC input voltage ratings. Because very high currents and voltages are present in these AC drives, there is a serious risk of damage to the nearby equipment and injury to the users who are working to repair and maintain the drives. Therefore, Allen-Bradley recommends that the electrical power to the drives be disconnected prior to working on the drive. Additionally, the bus capacitors must be discharged completely to prevent electric shock. Failure to do so could lead to injury and even death.
