The Gate Drive PCB is specifically designed and intended to be used as a spare or replacement part for the damaged, old, or faulty 1336 AC Drive PCBs on these 1336 Drives. The Allen-Bradley 74103-244-60 Gate Drive PCB is compatible and works with the Frame B 1336 Series Drives. It also works with the Series C as well as the 1336 IMPACT, PLUS, and FORCE AC drives with a Horsepower rating of 30 Horsepower and an AC voltage rating of 460 Volts AC. The Allen-Bradley 74103-244-60 Gate Drive PCB helps to amplify the host drive's power. It allows for input power at a low level from an integrated circuit while providing high current at its output. This output drives the transistor gate, which can be either an IGBT brake or a power MOSFET. There are several precautions the operators of the PCB and its host drive must follow that are recommended by Allen-Bradley so that they will be safe, and so that the equipment will be safe as well. These precautions include using a static-free work area, disconnecting the power source of the drive, and giving the bus capacitors on the drive to discharge completely while handling the 1336 AC drives and their spare parts.
