The Allen-Bradley 1336S-B020-AN-EN3 drive comes with a voltage rating in the range of 380 to 480 Volts AC. The output from the drive is 20 Horsepower when all the requirements are met. An open enclosure with an IP 00 rating is available to protect the drive. With the open enclosure, the drive needs an operating temperature between 0 and 50 degrees Celsius. The drive is programmed in English and it has multilingual support. The drive features motor overload protection with standard controls. It offers class 10 motor overload protection according to NEC article 430. The 1336S-B020-AN-EN3 drive has no speed-sensitive overload protection, thermal memory retention, or motor over-temperature sensing. The drive can handle intermittent overloads with support for a 110% overload capability for up to 1 minute and for a 150% overload capability for up to 3 seconds. All shocks of up to 15 G peak are supported for 11 milliseconds.

The 1336S-B020-AN-EN3 drive supports both open loop and closed loop torque regulation. By using an open loop, the drive can support torque regulation which provides +/-5% regulation. By using an encoder feedback device, it has +/-2% regulation and it has the ability to hold a full load at zero speed. The drive has integral process PI control which eliminates the need for a separate process loop controller. With the PI control, the drive can control simple processes, monitor feedback, and adjust the drive feedback according to the feedback requirements that can be achieved by using the drive. The 1336S-B020-AN-EN3 drive can also provide integral gain adjustments along with feedback scaling, error inversion, output clamping, and integrator reset functions. The slip compensation feature in the drive can help to develop torque in an induction motor with a rotor speed relative to the stator speed.
