The 1336S-B075-AN-EN-L6 is a 1336 PLUS Adjustable Frequency AC Drive with a sensorless vector manufactured by Allen Bradley. It has a voltage of 380 to 480 Volts AC with a nominal HP rating of 56 kW or 75 Hp. It has an open-type enclosure and features a 115 Volts AC control interface. Allen Bradley designed the 1336S-B075-AN-EN-L6 to operate in a three-phase supply system with symmetrical line voltages. It has built-in surge protection features that protect the drive from overvoltage due to lightning. The 1336S-B075-AN-EN-L6, like all 1336 PLUS drives, comes with a Metal Oxide Varistor that provides phase-to-phase and surge protection. This module meets IEEE 587 standards; however, the MOV circuit is designed for surge suppression protection only, and not for continuous operation. When used with ungrounded distribution systems, the MOV connection can also become a continuous path to ground. It is important not to exceed published voltage ratings of the 1336S-B075-AN-EN-L6 to prevent physical damage to the MOV.
Keep in mind that the 1336S-B075-AN-EN-L6 does not have input power short circuit fusing. It is important to install one to provide drive input power protection from short circuits. Disconnect switches and branch circuit breakers can’t provide the input power protection required for the 1336 PLUS drive. The 1336S-B075-AN-EN-L6 is immune to externally generated interference. There is no need to practice precautionary actions when installing the drive, however, it is advisable to suppress coils of DC energized contactors with a diode or any similar device. DC contactors can produce severe electrical transients. It is important to install the ground and power connections of the drive properly to prevent interference with sensitive devices. The cable leading to the motor has switched voltages that must be kept away from sensitive systems.
FAQ for 1336S-B075-AN-EN-L6
The 1336 PLUS and 1336S series of Allen-Bradley Adjustable AC Drives provide the speed control capabilities for industrial environments. Each motor has variable control through the Three-Phase Induction features. The drives provide a Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV), which offer protection against surge and Phase-to-Phase group protection. Most 1336S drives are suitable for direct connection to an AC line of the correct voltage. Many of the 1663 PLUS drives feature Control Interface Options that are engineered for the various needs of the user. Some of these features are: Contact Closure, Contact Closure with Encoder Feedback Inputs, and various +24V AC/DC Interface options. Users can control and operate the drive through an HMI display panel.
