The 1336S-BRF20-AA-EN4-HA2-L4 drive is an Allen-Bradley manufactured variable frequency drive or VFD with an output power rating of 2 Horsepower. A variable frequency drive or VFD changes the frequency of a motor’s input voltage. The 1336S-BRF20-AA-EN4-HA2-L4 drive can accept an input voltage range from 380 to 480 Volts AC. It comes equipped with a snap-in cradle and a blank plate on the front of the drive. This drive is programmed in English. The conformally-coated body of the drive is placed inside of a NEMA Type 1 enclosure with an IP 20 rating. The 1336S-BRF20-AA-EN4-HA2-L4 drive can run when there is a loss of power because the drive has a power ride-thru of 15 milliseconds at a full load. It also features the logic control ride-thru of 0.5 seconds minimum. The drive can trip at 570 Volts AC for the AC input overvoltage and at 280 Volts AC for the AC input undervoltage. The temperature of the drive is monitored by using a microprocessor-enabled heatsink thermistor which also has an over-temperature trip.

The output frequency range of the drive lies between 0 and 400 Hertz. The 1336S-BRF20-AA-EN4-HA2-L4 drive uses sensorless vector control to regulate the torque in the motors. It provides exceptional torque performance and it has an outstanding low-speed torque at a low speed of 15 rpm which in turn provides a 120:1 constant torque ratio. The algorithm has advanced acceleration control which can handle difficult loads easily. Also, the drive is equipped with Volts per Hertz control to handle simple fan, compressor, and pump applications.
