The Allen-Bradley 1336S-BRF20-AN-EN4-HAP-L5 is an adjustable frequency drive which is part of the 1336S series. This drive features a 513-620V DC or 380-480V AC voltage rating. It is also housed in an IP00 (Open) type enclosure and produces 2 horsepower. This drive has also been programmed in English and it has control interface options of 24V AC/DC. With this drive, it is possible for users to control and operate a machine through an HMI display panel. The A4 Frame drives of this module should not be mounted on a combustible surface. If the user needs to mount this drive on a combustible surface, then spaces of 6.35 mm under the mounting feet of the drive must be provided.

The 1336S-BRF20-AN-EN4-HAP-L5 drive has been designed to be able to operate on three-phase supply systems with symmetrical line voltages. This drive is not able to provide input power short-circuit fusing. The specifications for the recommended fuse type and size have been provided drive input power protection against short circuits. For such a drive component, disconnect the switches and circuit breakers cannot provide this level of protection.

The users must give careful attention to the arrangement of ground connections and power connections to the drive. This will help in avoiding interference that arises from nearby sensitive equipment. The cable to the motor which is used to carry switched voltages should be routed far away from the sensitive equipment. The motor cable’s ground conductor should be directly connected to the drive ground (PE) terminal. If the ground conductor of the 1336S-BRF20-AN-EN4-HAP-L5 has been connected to a bus bar or a cabinet ground, a high-frequency current that will be circulating in the ground system of the enclosure will be caused.
