The Allen-Bradley 1336 PLUS II 1336-B040-AE-EN-GM1-L6 controller has the capability to control a single motor or multiple motors at a time, depending on which of its available operating modes it has been programmed to operate in. If it has been programmed to operate in its standard Volts/Hertz operating mode, the 1336-B040-AE-EN-GM1-L6 controller can control just 1 motor or more than 1 motor within an application as long as all of the motors involved are standard motors. These standard motors can vary somewhat in size and in specifications, but the 1336-B040-AE-EN-GM1-L6 controller will not be able to control very large motors and motor loads, slow-moving motors, or motors that require higher-than-usual levels of torque in the Volts/Hertz operating mode. However, the 1336-B040-AE-EN-GM1-L6 controller can control very large motors and motor loads, slow-moving motors, and motors that require higher-than-usual levels of torque if it has been programmed to operate in its sensorless vector operating mode.
The Allen-Bradley 1336 PLUS II 1336-B040-AE-EN-GM1-L6 controller’s sensorless vector operating mode is more advanced than its Volts/Hertz operating mode, advanced enough to generate and support high torque levels even in motors that need to operate extremely slowly. The 1336-B040-AE-EN-GM1-L6 controller can support motor operating speeds of as little as 15 RPM in the sensorless vector mode. To program the 1336-B040-AE-EN-GM1-L6 controller’s operating mode and many of its other operating specifications, the users can use a variety of programming devices such as HMIs, PLCs, or SLCs. The 1336-B040-AE-EN-GM1-L6 controller supports HMIs in its designated HMI slot and it supports PLCs and SLCs through its serial port. After the 1336-B040-AE-EN-GM1-L6 controller is completely programmed, it can be controlled through its featured control interface, or it can be controlled through an optional HMI. The 1336-B040-AE-EN-GM1-L6 controller’s featured HMI operates at 115 Volts AC, and the controller also has a Remote I/O communication module.
