The Allen-Bradley 1336F-A007-AA-EN-HCS2-L5 drive is a 1336 Plus II series VFD (Variable Frequency Drive). It is also a PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) AC drive with a microprocessor that generates a sinusoidal current output to regulate the frequency that is provided to the AC motor that is attached to it. The operating voltage range of this AC drive is from 200 to 240 Volts AC. At 240 Volts AC nominal voltage and 4 Kilohertz of carrier frequency, the 1336F-A007-AA-EN-HCS2-L5 drive produces 22 Amps of output current and 5.5 kilowatts output power with both constant and variable torque. This 1336 PLUS II AC series drive supports real-time diagnostics for the detection of fault conditions, drive status updates, and several configuration options through the use of a human-machine interface module or through the drive's serial communication port.

The Allen-Bradley 1336F-A007-AA-EN-HCS2-L5 1336 Plus II VFD drive has an IP 20 or NEMA Type 1 enclosure. The level of protection offered by the drive’s enclosure is limited to protection against accidental contact, dust, and small pieces of debris. Therefore, it is recommended to operate the drive indoors only and to keep liquids away from it. This AC drive comes with several mounting holes on the front face of the housing for mounting the drive easily. It also comes with aluminum heat sinks mounted on the back. When mounting the device, the operators must ensure that there is enough clearance between the drive and other devices for proper heat dissipation. The 1336F-A007-AA-EN-HCS2-L5 drive includes a factory-installed human-machine interface. This interface is a programmer module with a digital potentiometer that makes the drive as easy to program as possible. Another factory-installed option that comes with the 1336F-A007-AA-EN-HCS2-L5 drive is a 24 Volts AC/DC contact interface which is connected to terminal block TB3 of the drive.
