The 1336F-AFB1B Adjustable Frequency AC Drive by Allen-Bradley fits into the IP65 (NEMA Type 4) enclosure kit. It is the product of the 1336 PLUS II series. The 1336F-AFB1B is a programmable drive that can be programmed for dynamic braking, line loss restart mode, proactive current limit, flying start, and negative slip compensation, to name a few. The drive is equipped with third generation devices that aid reduction in switching and the conduction related losses. The multiple sensors on this module and its proactive current limit control and exceptional torque production help in the dynamic current control process; another feature of the 1336F-AFB1B that plays a large part in dynamic current control is this module’s isolated power and logic. The drive has DC powered cooling fan and communications that are designed to accommodate onboard the module. The 1336F-AFB1B is a 380 to 480 Volt drive with a heat sink thermistor that is monitored by microprocessor over temperature trip. The 1336F-AFB1B drive also has a sensorless vector motor control; it adds an exceptional torque performance to the 1336 PLUS II series of drives and provides outstanding low-speed torque at speed as low as 15 RPM (Revolutions Per Minute). The 1336F-AFB1B, when PI control enabled, monitors the network’s feedback and consequently adjusts the drive’s output. This drive can easily record the last four faults experienced by the drive through the fault buffer. For the ease of programming, the 1336F-AFB1B uses an extensive set of parameters. Additionally, this Allen-Bradley product has a Human Interface Module (HMI) that can easily display up to 40 faults. A brief text statement is displayed for each fault, in the case some error is diagnosed.
