This drive is used as a control device for a compatible variable speed motor. Since the drive does not come with a built-in human-machine interface or communication options, it needs to be connected to an external device that can program it. Depending on the requirements of the application, this drive can accelerate or decelerate the speed and torque of the connected motor without causing damage to the motor through friction or component wear. The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1336F-AQF20-AN-FR adjustable frequency drive has been designed to operate in indoor environments that do not contain liquids or large quantities of dirt and dust. It comes with an open enclosure that provides stability to the whole structure of the drive and protects the drive’s cabling and wirings.
