The 1336F-AQF50-AA-EN-GMS1-L4 adjustable frequency drive has been designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation as part of the 1336 PLUS II series. The 1336 PLUS II series drives are designed to control 3-phase induction motors in a broad range of applications from simple motor speed control applications to the most demanding motor torque control applications. The 1336F-AQF50-AA-EN-GMS1-L4 drive supports Volts per Hertz control and sensorless vector control for outstanding motor control and outstanding motor performance. The drive comes with a Size A3 frame and an operating voltage rating of 200 to 240 Volts AC or 310 Volts DC. The drive comes with an output motor power rating of 4 kilowatts or 5 Horsepower at 240 Volts AC nominal voltage and 50 or 60 Hertz operating frequency. The 1336F-AQF50-AA-EN-GMS1-L4 adjustable frequency drive is housed in a general-purpose enclosure that has an IP rating of IP 20 (NEMA Type 1).

The Allen-Bradley 1336F-AQF50-AA-EN-GMS1-L4 1336 PLUS II series adjustable frequency drive supports a maximum ambient temperature of 40 degrees Celsius without derating. The drive has a total heat dissipation rating of 158 Watts, which includes the drive's heat dissipation (42 Watts) and the heatsink dissipation (116 Watts) under nominal operating conditions. The 1336F-AQF50-AA-EN-GMS1-L4 drive comes with an English language module pre-installed and with a drive-mounted contact closure interface that operates on a 5 Volts DC rated internal power supply. Furthermore, a single-point Remote I/O communication board with a snap-in cradle is also installed in the 1336F-AQF50-AA-EN-GMS1-L4 drive at the factory. The 1336F-AQF50-AA-EN-GMS1-L4 drive does not have built-in short-circuit protection, but Allen-Bradley recommends using third-party circuit breakers and motor circuit protectors rated at 60 and 30 Amps, respectively, for drive protection. The drive has a short circuit withstand rating of up to 200,000 RMS symmetrical Amps.
