The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1336F-AQF50-AA-EN-HCS2-L5E drive is an adjustable frequency drive from the 1336 PLUS II series. It is used to control and regulate the speed of 3-phase balanced AC-powered induction motors by modifying the output frequency it applies to the connected motor through pulse width modulation (PWM). The 1336F-AQF50-AA-EN-HCS2-L5E adjustable frequency drive has an input voltage rating of 200 to 240 Volts AC or 310 Volts DC and it produces 3.7 kilowatts or 5 Horsepower of output power in the constant torque operating more at 240 Volts AC rated nominal voltage. It can operate at full power with DC voltage or with 3-phase AC voltage, or it can operate with 1-phase AC voltage with 50 percent output derating. For high-performance motor speed and torque regulation, the 1336F-AQF50-AA-EN-HCS2-L5E drive utilizes the modern sensorless vector control method. The output current rating of this drive at 200 to 240 Volts AC is 18 Amps, and its apparent power output rating is 7.2 kVA.

A programmer/controller human-machine interface module with a snap-in cradle is included with the Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1336F-AQF50-AA-EN-HCS2-L5E 1336 PLUS II series adjustable frequency drive. This human-machine interface module is connected at Adapter 1 on the drive’s main control board and it provides a parameter upload and download functionality to the users. Additionally, an optional control interface board with encoder feedback inputs is also provided as a standard feature with the 1336F-AQF50-AA-EN-HCS2-L5E drive. The optional control interface board is installed at the TB3 terminal that is located on the drive’s main control board. The 1336F-AQF50-AA-EN-HCS2-L5E drive comes with an IP 20 rated NEMA Type 1 enclosure which can tolerate an ambient temperature range of 0 to 40 degrees Celsius with a relative humidity range of 5 to 95 percent without condensation. The drive comes with an inverse time functionality with a Class 10 protection rating that it uses to protect the motor from current overload. The drive supports a maximum load capacity of 100% when it is installed at an altitude of 1000 meters or less above sea level.
