It is designed to control 3-phase AC-powered induction motors by regulating the voltage and frequency that it applies to the connected motor. The 1336F-B015-AA-EN-HCS1-LA4 drive is part of the Allen-Bradley 1336 PLUS II series, and it is designed to be energy-saving, simple to program, easy to set up, cost-saving, and space-saving. It comes with fully customizable speed settings, dynamic torque control, and a high level of operating precision. This drive is commonly used in commercial applications in pumps, conveyor systems, fans, packaging machines, and roller systems which all require precise speed and torque control. The 1336F-B015-AA-EN-HCS1-LA4 drive offers a 150 percent constant torque transient overload capacity, a 115 percent variable torque transient overload capacity, a high starting torque level (over 250 percent), a maximum output frequency of 400 Hertz, and a 120:1 speed range.

The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1336F-B015-AA-EN-HCS1-LA4 1336 PLUS II series adjustable frequency drive features PWM programmable switching frequency which is adjustable from 2 kilohertz to 8 kilohertz, depending on the needs of a system or application. The two main modes of operation supported by the 1336F-B015-AA-EN-HCS1-LA4 drive are traditional Volts per Hertz (V/Hz) control and advanced SVC or Sensorless Vector Control. It has a robust design with a Size B1/B2 frame type and a standard NEMA Type 1 enclosure. It is commonly installed in control cabinets for higher levels of protection, but mounting it outside control cabinets is also possible in clean indoor environments. The drive’s chassis comes with 4 mounting holes to facilitate wall mounting. The 1336F-B015-AA-EN-HCS1-LA4 drive comes with an LA4 analog interface module pre-installed. The LA4 analog interface module has one isolated input channel and one isolated output channel that can be programmed to operate at 0 to 20 milliamps. This drive also includes a 5 Volts DC rated human-machine interface module as a standard HMI module with an analog potentiometer.
