The Allen-Bradley 1336F-B015-AA-EN-HCS2-L9E drive is a digital 1336 PLUS II series adjustable frequency drive that is used for controlling motors. The HMI on the drive includes a digital potentiometer which can be used for trimming and scaling signals by microcontrollers. The HMI can also be used as a programmer and controller device and it can upload and download data. The menus on the HMI are displayed in English because it has an English language module. The 1336F-B015-AA-EN-HCS2-L9E drive can operate with 3-phase or 1-phase AC power supplies that provide 380 to 480 Volts AC voltage. When the drive is used with 1-phase AC voltage, the output power rating of the drive derates to 50% of the full rated output that the drive can support. The control interface on the 1336F-B015-AA-EN-HCS2-L9E drive is rated at 115 Volts AC voltage and it supports encoder feedback for use with encoder loss detection.

The encoder feedback feature on the control interface allows the Allen-Bradley 1336F-B015-AA-EN-HCS2-L9E 1336 PLUS II series adjustable frequency drive to work with servo motors that can share information about their speed, position, and torque. This motor feedback is used by the drive controller to bring the motor parameters into line with the programmed parameter values. The rated nominal drive output for constant torque operation is 15 Horsepower. The rated output for variable torque operation is 20 Horsepower. The 1336F-B015-AA-EN-HCS2-L9E drive is available in an IP 20 rated NEMA Type 1 enclosure. The 1336F-B015-AA-EN-HCS2-L9E drive is designed to mount vertically. The drive’s heatsink can be mounted outside or inside the cabinet, and this provides a significant amount of flexibility for managing the drive’s ambient temperature. For smaller cabinets, the heatsink can be mounted outside the cabinet, and for larger cabinets, the heatsink can be mounted inside the cabinet.
