The 1336F-B015-AA-EN-L5-MX3 drive is an enclosed adjustable frequency drive from the Allen-Bradley 1336 PLUS II series. It is used for controlling 3-phase induction motors. It operates at full power at 380 to 480 Volts AC 3-phase input voltage and 50 to 60 Hertz frequency. This general-purpose drive has an output power rating of 15 Horsepower (11 kilowatts). The input voltage tolerance rating on the 1336F-B015-AA-EN-L5-MX3 drive is +/- 10% of the rated input voltage, and the input frequency tolerance rating is +/- 5%. This drive's intermittent current rating is 150 percent for constant torque applications and it is 115 percent for variable torque applications, and these current ratings are determined relative to the drive’s motor current rating. The 1336F-B015-AA-EN-L5-MX3 drive has a current output rating of 24.2 Amps for constant torque applications and 27 Amps for variable torque applications. This drive comes with several important features including features that support quick setup and commissioning processes, simple programming support, an energy-saving functionality, auto-tuning, PID Control, DC injection braking, flexible analog I/O, and a slip compensation feature.

The IP 20 rated enclosure of the Allen-Bradley 1336F-B015-AA-EN-L5-MX3 1336 PLUS II series adjustable frequency drive ensures that it is protected from small quantities of dust and pieces of debris that are over 12 millimeters in size. The enclosure of the drive also protects the drive operators from the hazardous live components of the drive but it is not waterproof. The 1336F-B015-AA-EN-L5-MX3 drive also comes with a special conformal coated printed circuit board. This conformal coating protects the circuit board from excessive temperatures, moisture, and contamination. For optimal operating conditions, the drive should only be used at temperatures between 0 and 40 degrees Celsius. A 24 Volts AC/DC rated control interface  is pre-installed on the 1336F-B015-AA-EN-L5-MX3 drive. The control frequency rating on this drive is configurable between 2 and 8 kilohertz during the drive's PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) process.
