The Allen-Bradley 1336F-B015-AE-EN-GM1-HASB drive is an adjustable frequency drive from the 1336 PLUS II series. The drive does not include a snap-in HMI. Instead, the drive features a blank plate that must be left in place to cover the opening for an HMI in the front cover of the enclosure. Equipment damage or personal injury may occur if the blank plate is removed because live parts of the drive will be exposed if the plate or an HMI is not installed. Additionally, dust and moisture could enter the opening and damage the drive if it is not properly covered. A variety of snap-in HMI modules that can be ordered and installed on this drive to make it easier to program and control. The 1336F-B015-AE-EN-GM1-HASB drive comes with a built-in single-point remote I/O communication interface for communicating with other devices. The 1336F-B015-AE-EN-GM1-HASB adjustable frequency drive is designed to operate with 380 to 480 Volts AC of input voltage. It delivers up to 15 Horsepower of output in the constant torque operating mode.

When operating in the variable torque mode, the Allen-Bradley 1336F-B015-AE-EN-GM1-HASB 1336 PLUS II series adjustable frequency drive delivers up to 20 Horsepower of output. The NEMA enclosure of the drive is EMC compatible and it is IP 20 rated. For an improved degree of environmental protection, Allen-Bradley recommends mounting the drive in an industrial control cabinet. The 1336F-B015-AE-EN-GM1-HASB drive is meant to be vertically mounted. The convection cooling method that the drive uses requires smooth flow of air around the drive as it operates. As a result, Allen-Bradley recommends a minimum of 4 inches of horizontal spacing and a minimum of 6 inches of vertical spacing between adjacent drives in the same system for airflow. Lack of proper spacing between nearby devices leads to obstructed airflow and causes the ambient temperature to increase. The 1336F-B015-AE-EN-GM1-HASB drive performs optimally when the temperature of the surrounding air is between 0 and 40 degrees Celsius. Higher ambient temperatures will lead to output derating and to component damage.
