The Allen-Bradley 1336F-B015-AN-EN-GMS6-L4 1336 PLUS II series adjustable frequency drive is a motor control drive. It is used to control compatible motors in industrial drive systems. Several of the 1336F-B015-AN-EN-GMS6-L4 drive’s components are ESD-sensitive and therefore ESD precautions should be implemented by all the technicians who work on the drive. Additionally, only personnel who are properly trained should install or repair the drive. This will help to prevent errors such as incorrect wiring or installing an inadequate AC voltage supply that could lead to device malfunctioning. The DC bus voltage can cause electric shock, and so the DC bus capacitors need to be discharged prior to any installation or maintenance activity. A communication module that supports enhanced DeviceNet communication is installed on the 1336F-B015-AN-EN-GMS6-L4 drive and it supports data rates including 125, 250, and 500 kbps as well as autobaud operation.

The language option available on the 1336F-B015-AN-EN-GMS6-L4 drive is English, but the drive does not come with a built-in HMI module. The drive operates at 380 to 480 Volts AC 3-phase voltage and it delivers up to 15 Horsepower of maximum output in the constant torque mode. The drive output falls to 50% of  the maximum rated output if single-phase AC input voltage is used. Allen-Bradley has designed the 1336F-B015-AN-EN-GMS6-L4 drive for convection cooling. Forced air cooling or even air conditioning can also be used for the maintenance of the ambient operating temperature. The optimal temperature range for drive operation is from 0 to 50 degrees Celsius.
