The main function of the drive is to modify the frequency and voltage that are being applied to the motor in order to modify the speed and torque of the drive as it operates. The application settings of the drive need to be programmed into the drive before it is put into action. The 1336F-B020-AA-EN-HASB-L5 drive can be programmed locally if a human-machine interface is installed. This drive comes with a snap-in cradle with a blank plate that protects the installation space for an optional human-machine interface until an interface is installed. This drive also comes with a 24 Volts AC/DC control interface. This drive does not include analog modules for its analog module slots but optional ones can be installed. The 1336F-B020-AA-EN-HASB-L5 drive also includes 6 drive alarms and a fault reset input feature.
