It is used to precisely control the speed and torque of induction motors by varying their input frequency. To manipulate the frequency, the drive utilizes PWM or Pulse Width Modulation technology. The 1336F-B020-AA-EN-HCS2-LA2-LA3-L6 drive is a part of the Allen-Bradley 1336 PLUS II series and it incorporates sensorless vector control or SVC to meet the low-speed torque requirements of advanced applications. In addition, the 1336F-B020-AA-EN-HCS2-LA2-LA3-L6 adjustable frequency drive also comes with a Volts per Hertz control option that can be used to enhance the system’s efficiency in applications that have more than one motor connected to a single drive, especially in systems where the motors are not identical in size or type.

The Allen-Bradley 1336F-B020-AA-EN-HCS2-LA2-LA3-L6 1336 PLUS II series adjustable frequency drive is available in an easy-to-install compact Size B frame and an IP 20/NEMA Type 1 enclosure. Mounting the drive is easy with its flange mount feature and 4 mounting holes. The 1336F-B020-AA-EN-HCS2-LA2-LA3-L6 drive supports ambient operating temperatures of up to 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit) which can be maintained even with minimal spacing (101.6 mm) between it and adjacent drives. The drive can be easily controlled directly due to its standard onboard HMI, which also features a digital potentiometer for easy speed control. The 1336F-B020-AA-EN-HCS2-LA2-LA3-L6 drive additionally features 2 analog input/output interface modules. One analog interface has 2 inputs and the other has 2 outputs, and these inputs and outputs can all be configured for operation at 0 to 10 Volts or 0 to 20 milliamps. The 1336F-B020-AA-EN-HCS2-LA2-LA3-L6 drive also has a 115 Volts AC rated control interface.
