The Allen-Bradley 1336F-B020-AA-EN-LA1-L4 drive is an adjustable frequency drive from the 1336 PLUS II series. It supports output frequencies in the 0 to 400 Hertz range. The range of input line frequencies that the AC drive supports is 47 to 63 Hertz. The drive is designed for direct connection to an AC mains that provides it with 380 to 480 Volts AC input voltage. Suitable isolation devices such as isolation transformers can be used to protect the drive if the AC mains experiences surges or voltage transients. The drive is not available with integrated input short-circuit protection. Therefore, either an input fuse or an input circuit breaker can be installed to provide this protection. The required ratings for the optional fuse and circuit breaker are listed in the product manual. The output of the 1336F-B020-AA-EN-LA1-L4 drive is connected to a motor that the drive controls. A motor circuit protector can be used between the drive output and the motor input to protect the motor from abnormally high current levels.

In the constant torque mode, the nominal output power rating of the Allen-Bradley 1336F-B020-AA-EN-LA1-L4 1336 PLUS II series adjustable frequency drive is 20 Horsepower or 15 kilowatts. In the variable torque mode, the nominal output power rating of the 1336F-B020-AA-EN-LA1-L4 drive is 25 Horsepower. The drive is available with an optional analog interface that includes a single-ended, non-isolated configurable input and 2 single-ended non isolated outputs (1 of which is configurable, and 1 of which is rated at 20 milliamps). The 1336F-B020-AA-EN-LA1-L4 drive also supports a control interface with a TTL contact. The NEMA Type 1 enclosure of the drive is IP 20 rated and it weighs approximately 50 pounds. To prevent installation errors, only trained and qualified professionals should handle and install the drive and any associated machinery.
