The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1336F-B020-AE-EN-L5 adjustable frequency drive is a Bulletin 1336 PLUS II series drive that is used to control variable speed motors. The drive controls the speed and torque of the motor it is connected to by modifying the frequency and voltage levels it applies to the motor. The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1336F-B020-AE-EN-L5 adjustable frequency drive is also designed to perform all of its speed and torque variations smoothly so that it will not cause any friction or damage to the structure of the motor. It comes with an enclosure that has an IP 20 environmental protection rating and which is also EMC rated. This IP 20 rated enclosure can protect the drive from small quantities of dust and it covers the hazardous live parts of the drive to prevent the users from touching them, but this enclosure is not waterproof and it cannot protect the drive from harsh chemicals.

The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1336F-B020-AE-EN-L5 1336 PLUS II series adjustable frequency drive comes with a 24 Volts AC/DC rated control interface, but it does not include any type of human-machine interface or HMI. If it needs an HMI, an external one must be ordered separately and installed. An optional HMI can provide the Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1336F-B020-AE-EN-L5 adjustable frequency drive with the ability to send and receive data from different equipment in the system. The serial communication option that is included in the drive is compatible with all the Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation PLC and SLC equipment. The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1336F-B020-AE-EN-L5 adjustable frequency drive’s key features include speed-sensitive electronic overload protection, auto-tuning, and step logic features.
