The 1336F-B020-AE-EN-L8E adjustable frequency drive is an AC-powered motor control drive from Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. It is part of the 1336 PLUS II series. It is built to regulate the induction motors commonly used in industrial machinery such as pumps, conveyors, and compressors. The 1336F-B020-AE-EN-L8E drive operates at full power with 3-phase AC voltage. It can also be used with single-phase AC voltage, though only with a substantially reduced or derated output. Using an adjustable frequency drive such as the 1336F-B020-AE-EN-L8E drive to control a motor has several benefits, including an increased motor lifespan, low energy costs, low maintenance, and ease of use. Depending on the demands of the applications, the 1336F-B020-AE-EN-L8E drive can use 1 of 2 distinct motor control methods: Volts per Hertz control or sensorless vector control. The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1336F-B020-AE-EN-L8E 1336 PLUS II series adjustable frequency drive's built-in energy-saving feature, the auto economizer feature, combines the stator flux control with the economizer routine to allow the users to reduce energy costs by up to 20%. This 1336 PLUS II series drive also features expansion capabilities because it can host optional interface modules such as control interfaces, human-machine interfaces, and communication interfaces. A factory-installed control interface is included with the 1336F-B020-AE-EN-L8E drive. The control interface is a 24 Volts AC/DC rated control interface  with encoder feedback terminals that is also compatible with older Bulletin 1336 drives. This control interface also includes an encoder loss detection functionality, which can be turned on or off via programming. When activated, the encoder loss detection functionality sounds an alarm after 200 milliseconds of encoder loss.
