It regulates industrial-grade electric induction motors by using pulse width modulation or PWM control. This AC drive is designed to control the speed and torque of balanced 3-phase motor loads. The 1336F-B020-AN-EN-GM6-HCS2 adjustable frequency drive is typically used to manage the frequency and voltage of AC induction motors that are rated between 380 and 480 Volts AC. The maximum load capacity of the drive is 15 kilowatts for constant torque applications and 18.5 kilowatts for variable torque applications. It supports up to 150% rated output overload for 1 minute when operating with constant torque loads. By default, the 1336F-B020-AN-EN-GM6-HCS2 drive is equipped with an HMI or human-machine interface that can upload and download parameters and that has a built-in digital speed potentiometer. The HMI operates in English by default but it can support different languages as well, depending on the language module that is installed on the drive. An enhanced DeviceNet module also comes pre-installed with the 1336F-B020-AN-EN-GM6-HCS2 drive that interfaces a programmable logic controller or PLC to the drive through a single connection.
