The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1336F-B020-AN-EN-GMS2 drive is an economical and energy-efficient general-purpose AFD (Adjustable Frequency Drive) module developed for controlling industrial-grade induction motors. It is part of the 1336 PLUS II drive series. It is a 3-phase input/3-phase output drive with a 380 to 480 Volts AC operating voltage range and a 15-kilowatt (20-Horsepower) output power rating that incorporates a high-performance vector control option. Its input voltage ratings include -10% minimum +10% maximum acceptable tolerance levels when operating. The operating frequency range of the 1336F-B020-AN-EN-GMS2 drive is 50 to 60 Hertz, with a frequency tolerance range of 48 to 62 Hertz depending on the power source that is employed. The ability to modify the carrier frequency supplied to a motor based on the needs of the application is one of the key functions of this drive. Its PWM (Pulse Width Modulated) frequency rating may be set anywhere from 2 to 8 kilohertz by the users and its standard setting is 4 kilohertz.

The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1336F-B020-AN-EN-GMS2 1336 PLUS II series adjustable frequency drive can deliver up to 25 kilowatts of output power in the variable torque operating mode at 480 Volts AC 3-phase input voltage, at a frequency range of 0 to 400 Hertz with a resolution of 0.012 Hertz, and a typical output efficiency of 97.5%. This drive has an open type of enclosure with an Ingress Protection or IP rating  of IP 00 and a Size B1/B2 frame. An Allen-Bradley serial communication module with a snap-in cover is offered as a factory-installed component with the 1336F-B020-AN-EN-GMS2 drive. This serial communication module is powered by the drive and it supports the DF1 and DH485 protocols. The ambient temperature ranges required to operate and store the 1336F-B020-AN-EN-GMS2 drive safely are 0 to 50 degrees Celsius and -40 to +70 degrees Celsius, respectively.
