The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1336F-B020-AN-EN-L4 motor control drive is a variable frequency drive or VFD from the Allen-Bradley 1336 PLUS II series that has been designed to operate in motor control applications that require compact devices because they have installation space limitations. This drive is meant to be installed vertically and it requires clearances of 6 inches vertically and 4 inches horizontally so that it can release heat properly. The 1336F-B020-AN-EN-L4 variable frequency drive operates with proactive current limit technology and with isolated power and logic wiring. Both of these features help eliminate noise in the drive system and reduce drive tripping to provide more reliable and stable operations. This drive produces high levels of operating torque through sensorless vector control technology, and it also comes with advanced third-generation devices that enable it to reduce its switching and conduction losses.

The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1336F-B020-AN-EN-L4 1336 PLUS II series variable frequency drive includes dual acceleration and deceleration profiles which can be determined during the programming of the drive. The drive also includes a DC injection braking feature, a dynamic braking feature, and slip compensation combined with negative slip compensation. To program the drive, the users will need to connect it to a human-machine interface module or another external programming device since it does not include a human-machine interface or other programming device by default. The 1336F-B020-AN-EN-L4 variable frequency drive comes with diagnostics tools that enable it to monitor itself during operation and to alert the users about impending faults. It can alert the users before the faults occur so that the faults can be addressed as quickly as possible to minimize system damage and errors.
