The 1336F-B020-AN-EN-L5-MX3 adjustable frequency drive is a 20 Horsepower-rated and AC-powered drive from Allen-Bradley. It is part of the 1336 PLUS II series and it is designed for working with AC power supplies that generate 380 to 480 Volts AC. The drive supports both 3-phase and 1-phase AC input voltage. However, the rated output of the drive is available only with 3-phase AC input voltage. The use of single-phase AC input voltage leads to 50% output derating. The drive has components that are covered with a conformal coating. This conformal coating provides protection against dust, moisture, extreme temperatures, and chemicals. The 1336F-B020-AN-EN-L5-MX3 drive is a convection-cooled device and it features an integrated heatsink. The total heat dissipation rating of an operating drive is 768 Watts. The recommended ambient operating temperature range for the drive is 0 to 50 degrees Celsius and the recommended elevation range is 0 to 1000 meters. Additionally, the relative humidity level should be maintained between 5 and 95% without condensation.

The Allen-Bradley 1336F-B020-AN-EN-L5-MX3 1336 PLUS II series adjustable frequency drive supports a control interface which is rated at 24 Volts AC/DC. The enclosure of the 1336F-B020-AN-EN-L5-MX3 drive is open and it has an environmental protection rating of only IP 00. The drive is designed to be mounted vertically. Four holes on the enclosure allow for secure mounting through the use of mounting screws. The approximate weight of the 1336F-B020-AN-EN-L5-MX3 drive is 50 pounds. The drive’s dimensions are 476.3 x 276.4 x 88.9 millimeters. Approximately 131.6 millimeters of space are required behind the drive so that the rear door can be opened completely for maintenance purposes. Personnel working on the drive should implement ESD precautions to protect the drive's sensitive internal components. The DC bus capacitors on the drive should be discharged completely prior to any maintenance activity to avoid electric shock.
