The Allen-Bradley 1336F-B020-AN-IT drive is an adjustable frequency drive that has been manufactured in the 1336 PLUS II series. It has both constant torque and variable torque capabilities. The manual for the drive lists performance specifications that are valid for 3-phase AC input voltage, 4 kilohertz of rated carrier frequency, and operation under all of the manufacturer’s recommended ambient conditions. The input voltage range for the drive is from 380 to 480 Volts AC for both 3-phase and 1-phase input voltage. With 1-phase AC input voltage, the output of the drive derates by at least 50%. The 1336F-B020-AN-IT drive is supplied in an open enclosure that has an IP 00 environmental protection rating. It weighs about 50 pounds during shipping. The frame size of the drive is Size B. The dimensions of the drive are 18.75 x 10.88 x 3.5 inches. A heatsink on the drive includes a temperature sensor, and the drive is set to trip if the heatsink temperature exceeds a predefined threshold.

The Allen-Bradley 1336F-B020-AN-IT 1336 PLUS II series adjustable frequency drive can be installed in a cabinet for additional protection, and it can be mounted with the heatsink either inside or outside the cabinet. This means that either large or small cabinets can be used. For larger cabinets, the 1336F-B020-AN-IT drive can be mounted with the heatsink inside the cabinet, and for smaller cabinets, the drive can be mounted with the heatsink outside the cabinet. The combined heat dissipation rating of the drive and its heatsink is 768 Watts. The operating temperature range for the drive is 0 to 50 degrees Celsius. The 1336F-B020-AN-IT drive operates in Italian by default. It has an Italian language module but no interface modules of any kind. Some of the drive components are ESD-sensitive, and the technicians operating or servicing the drive should take all of the relevant ESD precautions to protect the drive. The bus capacitors on the drive should be completely discharged prior to any maintenance activity to prevent electric shock.
