It has more advanced features and a better overall design than older adjustable frequency drives. This drive comes equipped with innovative devices and technology that enable it to produce torque faster than older types of drives. Its key control technology is called sensorless vector control technology which produces high levels of torque. The main function of this drive is to modify the speed and torque of an induction motor by modifying the level of frequency that it applies to the motor. It can operate with both 3-phase and 1-phase AC voltage, but it can only support its full output ratings with 3-phase AC voltage. The drive’s output must be derated by 50% if it is powered by 1-phase AC voltage. With 3-phase AC voltage, the Allen-Bradley 1336F-B025-AA-EN-GM1-HAS2 drive can achieve up to 97.5% efficiency and its maximum output power rating is 25 Horsepower.
