The 1336F-B030-AA-EN-L4 drive is a modular motor control drive. It is manufactured by Allen-Bradley in the 1336 PLUS II series. The 1336 PLUS II series is a series of industrial drives that control motors through adjustable frequency levels. The DC bus on the 1336F-B030-AA-EN-L4 drive carries a high voltage which can cause serious injury and even death. Therefore, the DC bus must be discharged completely before any work is performed on the 1336F-B030-AA-EN-L4 drive. Test points on the drive’s TB1 terminal block allow for the easy measurement of the DC bus voltage. The 1336F-B030-AA-EN-L4 drive is also manufactured with ESD-sensitive components, and failure to follow ESD precautions while using the drive can lead to component damage. To reduce the risk of improper installation and drive malfunctioning, only properly trained personnel should install or service the 1336F-B030-AA-EN-L4 drive.

The Allen-Bradley 1336F-B030-AA-EN-L4 1336 PLUS II series motor control drive comes in an IP 20-rated NEMA enclosure. The drive enclosure protects the users from electric shock, but it does not provide much protection against dust or moisture. Therefore, Allen-Bradley recommends mounting the drive inside a stronger enclosure for additional protection. The 1336F-B030-AA-EN-L4 drive features a control interface which is a TTL contact interface. The drive can be connected to a 3-phase AC power supply operating at 380 to 480 Volts AC. The permitted input voltage tolerance range is from -10% of the minimum rating to +10% of the maximum rating. The permitted input frequency range is from 47 to 63 Hertz. The rated output power of the 1336F-B030-AA-EN-L4 drive is 30 Horsepower if the ambient operating conditions comply with those specified by Allen-Bradley. Drive operation under non-specified ambient conditions leads to derated output and can lead to equipment malfunctioning.
