The 1336F-B030-AE-EN-GMS5 drive from Allen-Bradley is an industrial motor control drive that comes with adjustable frequency and selectable control modes. This 1336 PLUS II series drive can increase or decrease its frequency output in order to increase or decrease the operating torque or speed of a connected motor. Additionally, the 1336F-B030-AE-EN-GMS5 drive’s adjustable frequency is programmed to shift its ratings gradually and without causing friction. The selectable control modes for the 1336F-B030-AE-EN-GMS5 drive include the Volts/Hertz mode, the sensorless vector mode, and the process PI mode. The Volts/Hertz mode is easy for the operators to customize to suit their system needs and it can be used in a wide range of common or standard motor control applications. The sensorless vector mode expands the 1336F-B030-AE-EN-GMS5 drive’s control possibilities significantly through its 120:1 speed range in constant torque applications. The sensorless vector mode can accelerate large motors with a fast flux-up feature and it can sustain its 120:1 speed range with constant torque even at motor speeds of only 15 RPM. The process PI mode can be used to monitor a feedback device or for controlling simple application processes.



 



The only interface module that the Allen-Bradley 1336 PLUS II series 1336F-B030-AE-EN-GMS5 drive comes with is a DeviceNet communication interface module with a snap-in cradle. The DeviceNet communication module’s snap-in cradle makes it easy to install the module while also holding it securely in place once installed. The snap-in cradle also makes it easy to disconnect the communication module when necessary. The DeviceNet communication module is connected to Adapter 1 on the 1336F-B030-AE-EN-GMS5 drive. The 1336F-B030-AE-EN-GMS5 motor control drive’s enclosure is an EMC version of a NEMA Type 1 enclosure that provides it with a low level of protection from debris. This enclosure also covers the 1336F-B030-AE-EN-GMS5 drive’s live components to protect the operators from electric shock.
