The 1336F-B030-AE-EN-L5 motor control drive is an advanced AC-powered adjustable frequency drive. Allen-Bradley has manufactured it in the 1336 PLUS II series for motor control in industrial or commercial applications. The drive accepts AC input. The operators can connect the drive input directly to the AC supply in many cases. To protect the 1336F-B030-AE-EN-L5 drive, the operators can install an isolation transformer if the AC supply experiences transients or spikes. There are no input short circuit protection features built into the drive, but the operators can install a fuse or circuit breaker to protect the drive input from abnormally high current levels. The integrated overvoltage protection feature on the 1336F-B030-AE-EN-L5 drive trips the drive if the AC input level reaches 570 Volts AC. Additionally, the integrated undervoltage protection feature trips the drive if the AC input level falls to 280 Volts AC. The nominal input range is 380 to 480 Volts AC.

To ensure that the ambient temperature remains within this range, Allen-Bradley recommends mounting the drive with space for airflow between it and any nearby devices. The minimum space between the 1336F-B030-AE-EN-L5 and any horizontally adjacent drives should be 4 inches. The minimum space between the 1336F-B030-AE-EN-L5 drive and any vertically adjacent drive should be 6 inches. The control interface on the 1336F-B030-AE-EN-L5 drive operates at 24 Volts AC/DC. The drive does not include an HMI module. The EMC-compatible NEMA Type 1 drive enclosure is IP 20-rated.
